About Us

Dr Kent Dr. David Kent is the founder of the Lifestyle Lift and the Lifestyle Lift Foundation, a non-profit organization that is aimed at helping children who suffering from disfiguring diseases and accidents lead happier, healthier lives.

Dr. Kent maintains a very active role in the Lifestyle Lift. After developing the unique, remarkably successful procedure, Dr. Kent has helped bring happier lives to tens of thousands of people around the world by sharing the Lifestyle Lift with other professional facial surgeons.

In addition to managing the professional practice he has operated for more than a decade, Dr. Kent also spends much of his time attending conferences and other industry events to spread the word about the Lifestyle Lift and to further develop other innovations related to cosmetic surgery.

Dr. David Kent is a member of a number of professional societies, including the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery; the American Osteopathic College of Otolaryngology (head & neck surgery); the American Osteopathic Association; and many others.

The Lifestyle Lift founder completed residencies in general surgery, otolaryngology, head & neck, and facial plastic surgery. Dr. Kent also specializes in pediatric plastic surgery, which is an area of expertise that he is able to practice through his Lifestyle Life Foundation.

In his spare time, Dr. Kent enjoys the outdoors, and is an avid bass fisherman. He spends most of his spare time with his wife and three children at their home in Michigan.

What does Lifestyle Lift foundation do?

The Lifestyle Lift foundation is a non profitable and social welfare organisation that is engaged in helping children, who are suffering from birth defects, especially Hemangioma. It enables such children to look like the normal kids and lead a normal life. Founded in the year 2006 by Dr David M. Kent, the founder of the Lifestyle Lift procedure, the Lifestyle Lift foundation aims to bring relief to children suffering from cosmetic disorders and to educate the parents about them.

The Lifestyle Lift Foundation is dedicated to the care and service of children who suffer from cosmetic problems. The Lifestyle Lift Foundation works towards its aims in two ways. First, it educates and informs families about the symptoms and effects of problems such as Hemangioma. Often these problems are compounded because they are left untreated. Further, adequate information can also help suffering families deal with such problems a little better: it also helps families realize that treatment is definitely 'the' option. Secondly, the Lifestyle Lift Foundation is dedicated to the treatment of such problems. The treatment differs from child to child as a result each child is given individual care.

Various processes like LASER, Steroids, and surgical procedure may be used during treatment, especially in the case of Hemangioma. Other medications like steroids are also used on an immediate basis, mostly at the rising stage of the Hemangioma, to slow it down. To completely remove a Hemangioma or other lesion, LASER therapy is used. A surgical procedure may also be used to remove the Hemangioma. All three treatments steroids, LASER and surgery can be used in combination.
